IDO AMBASSADOR FOR THE AMERICAS IN MEXICO- PRESS RELEASE 12/2018
The International Dance Organisation’s Ambassador for the America’s Bonnie Dyer, recently travelled to Mexico to promote IDO amongst teachers, coaches, choreographers and dance enthusiasts.
In her IDO presentations, topics covered included the structure of IDO, format of World Championships, age categories, adjudication criteria, and general rules. She also highlighted the benefits of dancers and their schools being involved with such a prestigious World Organization.
IDO Ambassador for the America’s, Bonnie Dyer said:
‘Many of the trainers were extremely interested in getting their students involved in IDO and we can expect to see Mexico participating soon in all the genres.
Maga Domene the President of IDO-Mexico was a gracious hostess and ran an extremely well organized dance convention and competition. Well known master teachers were flown in from New York City, Las Vegas and Los Angeles, with the dancers being well-mannered and very gracious.’
Bonnie Dyer now plans to travel to South America, namely Panama and Ecuador, to introduce and promote IDO in these countries.
